Enjoy thrilling surround sound with the Marantz SR6009 networked A/V receiver which features built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi that lets you stream your favorite tracks wirelessly from your favorite portable devices, as well as letting you choose from thousands of internet radio stations. You can also stream your favorite tracks from subscription streaming services including Pandora®, SiriusXM™ and Spotify Connect® (not all services available in all markets). Prepared for the future, the SR6009 features an advanced video section with 8 HDMI inputs including 1 conveniently located on the front panel and dual HDMI outputs, and it's equipped with 4K Ultra HD 60 Hz video pass-through and upscaling. It's also compatible with Pure Color 4:4:4 color sub-sampling, another feature of the latest HDMI specification. The ISF certified video section also features ISFccc advanced video calibration controls.

With our Quick Setup guide and the intuitive on-screen Setup Assistant you'll have your system fully configured quickly and easily. You can even control the setup via your PC's web browser, or use our available iOS® and Android® apps with your smart device.

New Tablet Apps

In addition to the available smart device apps, we've created a new Marantz Remote app specifically for tablet devices, and it's available for iPads, Android tablets as well as the Kindle Fire™.

Convenient USB Port

On the front panel, there's a convenient USB port that lets you stream tunes from your iPod®, iPod touch, or iPad and charge it at the same time. You can also listen to your favorite MP3 and WMA tracks on USB and NAS devices.

Powerful 7 Channel Discrete Amplifier With Eco Mode

The SR6009 features a sophisticated power amplifier section with all 7 high current amp channels configured identically. Each channel is rated at 110 watts (8 ohms, 20 Hz~20 kHz, .08%THD), and all channels are rated to drive lower impedance 4 ohm speakers. The advanced Eco amplifier mode adjusts power consumption according to signal level, and there's an on-screen Eco Mode display that lets you see the power consumption reduction in real time.

Audyssey Gold Built-in

Equipped with the latest Audyssey Gold suite of DSP technologies, the SR6009 features Audyssey MultEQ XT automatic room acoustic measurement and correction system that provides higher precision digital filters for the satellite and subwoofers compared to the base MultEQ system, and it also allows for measurement at up to 8 locations in the room.

Audyssey Dynamic Volume smoothes out annoying jumps in volume (such as TV commercials), letting you listen at lower volume levels and still enjoy clear dialog and sound effects. Audyssey Dynamic EQ provides precision tonal balancing for full range clarity at any listening level.

Audyssey Dynamic Surround Expansion dramatically broadens the front soundstage via front height or front wide speakers for the ultimate listening experience, and the SR6009 is also Audyssey Pro Installer compatible, for superior in-room acoustic measurement and correction capabilities.
