Wirelessly stream your favorite music tracks with the Marantz NR1605 network A/V receiver, which features both built-in Wi-Fi and built-in Bluetooth so you can enjoy content on your smartphone, tablet, or from internet radio and subscription streaming services such as Pandora, SiriusXM and Spotify. You can also connect to your PC or Mac and stream content, without the need for a hard-wired LAN hookup. For the ultimate viewing experience, the NR1605 features an advanced video section that supports full rate (60 Hz) 4K Ultra HD highest resolution video, a feature of the latest HDMI specification, along with analog to HDMI conversion. The advanced audio section includes a 7 channel power amp block with identical circuitry for all channels, to ensure consistently high quality sound over the entire audio soundstage. In addition to high resolution audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, the NR1605 is also equipped with Dolby Pro Logic IIz, which lets you augment your 5.1 channel speaker system with 2 additional front height speakers, for a dramatically expanded front soundstage.

Built-In Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay and DLNA

With the built-in Wi-Fi, the NR1605 can tap into your home's broadband wireless network so you can enjoy listening to your favorite internet radio stations, as well as enjoy tracks from subscription streaming services including Pandora, SiriusXM and Spotify (not all services available in all markets). You can also wirelessly access your favorite tracks on your DLNA-compliant PC or Mac.

The Bluetooth wireless streaming function includes automatic pairing for instant recognition and the NR1605 can remember up to 8 Bluetooth devices so that everyone in the family can use their favorite device.

The NR1605's AirPlay feature lets you listen to your favorite tracks from your iPod touch, iPhone and iPad wirelessly.

8 HDMI Inputs; 1 HDMI Output with 4K Ultra HD 60 Hz Pass-through

Featuring no less than 8 HDMI inputs (including 1 conveniently located on the front panel), the NR1605 also has the ability to pass full rate 4K Ultra HD 60 Hz content via the Blu-ray and Game inputs, a feature of the latest HDMI specification, so you'll be fully prepared for the next generation in high resolution video.

It's also equipped with 4:4:4: Pure Color sub-sampling pass-through, another feature of the latest HDMI specification.

Advanced ISFccc Video Calibration Controls

The NR1605 is certified by the Imaging Science Foundation to deliver top video quality, and the unit also features advanced ISFccc video calibration controls that allow for precision fine-tuning of the connected HDTV, even if it's not an ISF certified set.

Our exclusive on-screen Setup Assistant lets you quickly and easily configure the NR1605 correctly the very first time, and the included measurement microphone ensures the correct settings for your particular speaker system. For the ultimate listening experience, the NR1605 features the latest high resolution audio decoders, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

It's also equipped with Dolby Pro Logic IIz, which lets you connect a pair of front height speakers to dramatically expand the front soundstage. Via the pre-amp outputs, you can choose to connect a stereo power amp and speakers for the front height channels, and enjoy a fantastic 9.1 channel surround sound experience that rivals the finest movie theaters.

Audyssey Silver Built-in

The NR1605 is equipped with the Audyssey Silver suite of advanced DSP audio processing functions, which includes Audyssey's renowned MultEQ automatic room acoustic measurement and correction system. Using the supplied measurement microphone, the MultEQ function provides true in-room acoustical measurement for all of the speakers in the room, including the subwoofer, and then automatically generates multiple high resolution digital filters that combine to provide the smoothest in-room response from your speaker system.

With Audyssey Dynamic EQ, you can enjoy true full range response at any desired volume level, and with Dynamic Volume, you'll enjoy a consistent listening level, free of annoying jumps in volume from overly loud commercials.

Multi-room Enjoyment

The versatile NR1605 features multi-room listening capability. You can enjoy 5 channel surround sound in the main room, while others can enjoy stereo sound from a different source in another room, with independent volume control for each room.

You can also connect an external stereo power amplifier to the multi-room pre-amp outputs and enjoy stereo sound in a second room from a different source at the same time others are enjoying a 7 channel surround sound movie in the main room.

Color Coded 4-Way Speaker Terminals

For easy and accurate speaker connections, the NR1605 is equipped with color coded speaker terminals and the unit comes with color coded speaker labels that help ensure proper hookup the very first time.

Easy To Use Quick Select Functions

The NR1605 features 4 Quick Select function buttons on the front panel that let you quickly choose your favorite sources, and the unit will remember your preferred audio settings for each input.

The ergonomically designed remote control also features dedicated Quick Select function buttons, eliminating the hassle of scrolling through all of the available inputs to get to your favorite sources.

IR Input & Output; RS-232C Serial Port; 12 Volt Trigger

For remote control compatibility with other components in your home theater system, the NR1605 features an IR (infrared) remote control input port, along with an RS-232C serial port for connection to a home automation system.

A 12 Volt trigger output lets you connect the NR1605 to a motorized front projection screen, motorized drapes, or other component or system that can be remotely activated via a 12 Volt trigger signal.
