The Yamaha Network Player Controller app allows you to browse through music sources on your smartphone or tablet. View song information and album art. What’s more, it features the Music Play function that lets you enjoy music streaming without having to select a different app. Compatible with either smartphones or tablets, it also gives you control of the receiver volume, inputs, settings and much, much more.

Compatibility with FLAC / WAV files up to 192 kHz / 24-bit playback is built in, bringing you accurate sound with rich expressive power that's only possible from high resolution sources. Yamaha technologies refined over many years ensure high stability and reliability during playback.

Connect To A TV And/Or Blu-Ray Disc™ Player With Digital Inputs

The R-N301 is equipped with both optical and coaxial digital input terminals. The optical is for receiving audio from a TV and the coaxial for receiving audio from a Blu-ray Disc player. The audio stays in the digital domain, giving you pure, pristine, dynamic sound for all your entertainment sources.

Power Saving

A power management function automatically cuts off the power (switches to standby mode) when the amplifier has not been operated for a long time. It can be set to 2, 4, 8, 12 or 20 hours, or remain disabled. In addition, power consumption during standby is only 0.1 W, achieving good energy saving performance.
